The FUSD Scholarship Fund provides for our students who are driven to attend college, but might not have the financial means to pursue their educational goals beyond high school.
These scholarships help some of our most brilliant students access the college or trade/technical education they’re reaching for.
Graduating high school seniors from one of FUSD’s seven comprehensive high schools, and Cambridge, Design Science, DeWolf, Duncan, Patino, Phoenix, or J.E. Young
Plans to attend a community college, four-year university/college, or trade/technical school
No GPA Requirement
Current transcript with current 10–12 augmented GPA
Submit completed online application including information about academic major/area of study, educational plan, school and community involvement, future goals/career aspirations, and financial need.
A selection committee will evaluate the applications using a scoring rubric that reflects the eligibility criteria. Every effort will be made to ensure a balanced distribution throughout all high schools.
For 2023/2024, a minimum $1,000 scholarship will be awarded. This may increase upon availability of funds. Students must show proof of enrollment at a community college, four-year university/college, or trade/technical school for fall of 2024 to claim their award.
