Our Impact
Working together with local community organizations and Fresno Unified staff, our students had the opportunity to design and create, to build and play, to learn something new, and to explore the world around them. The variety of summer camps available to students included opportunities in the areas of Adventure, College & Career Discovery, Creative Arts, Crafts, and Sports & Fitness. Best of all, each of these summer camp programs were offered at no cost to students and their families.
Summer STEAM Camp
The Department of College and Career Readiness/Extended Learning provided students a variety of summer camp experiences.
The summer 2023 camps drew participation from 7,708 students. More than half of the students signed up for multiple camps, which meant that this year 96% of all available summer camp slots were filled.
Summer Enrichment Camps provided students the opportunity to participate in new and exciting activities that engaged students in hands-on instruction by promoting critical thinking, increased physical activity, and team collaboration.
