How You Can Contribute to The Foundation’s 4th Annual Suit Drive

The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students is proud to partner once again with Neighborhood Thrift for the 4th Annual Suit Drive—helping Fresno Unified students dress for success at interviews, internships, and beyond.

From now through February 6, we’re inviting the community to donate new or gently used professional clothing—this includes suits, slacks, skirts, blouses, shoes, jewelry, and other accessories. Donations can be dropped off at the Neighborhood Thrift locations, J. Crew at River Park, and Bullard High School.

As covered by YourCentralValley, the initiative is about more than just clothing. It’s about confidence. “To help them put their best foot forward, to instill them with confidence,” said Executive Officer Linda Laettner. The Foundation is making sure students show up with the self-assurance and polish they need to thrive in professional environments.

Thanks to generous community donations, students will be invited to a Suited for Success event this spring—hosted at Edison High School—where they’ll be able to select outfits free of charge. The Foundation will also open another collection window in late March, giving community members more opportunities to contribute.
