High school juniors and seniors from across our district had the opportunity to select professional dress items for free at the “Suited for Success” shopping event, hosted by The Foundation for Fresno Unified Schools on April 9 at McLane High School. As they prepared for summer internships, job interviews, collegiate events and other professional opportunities, students chose from lightly worn suits, shirts, skirts, dresses and accessories. The items were collected during the Foundation’s second annual suit drive.
This fun shopping event also included food trucks, a DJ and volunteer clothing consultants to help students put together winning outfits. The Transportation Department provided transit for students from their schools to the event.
