FUSD Students thanking PG&E for donated sweaters

PG&E Grant Provides Sweaters for Fresno Unified Students

On Monday, December 9, the Fresno Unified School District announced a generous grant from the PG&E Foundation. Awarded to The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students, this contribution of $25,000 is being used to buy warm sweaters for the district’s students. About 1,750 students across 25 of the District’s schools will receive sweaters purchased with the grant, provided through The Foundation’s Adopt-A-School program—$1,000 worth of sweaters per school.

The delivery of the sweaters began in November and will continue until all the participating schools have received their allocations. This will ensure that the students of Fresno Unified are kept warm and ready to learn throughout the winter season.
