Our Impact

Working together with local community organizations and Fresno Unified staff, our students had the opportunity to design and create, to build and play, to learn something new, and to explore the world around them. The variety of summer camps available to students included opportunities in the areas of Adventure, College & Career Discovery, Creative Arts, Crafts, and Sports & Fitness. Best of all, each of these summer camp programs were offered at no cost to students and their families.

The Gold Standard of Summer Programs

Superintendent Bob Nelson met with Michael Funk, director of the state’s expanded learning Division, who told him that Fresno Unified “represents the gold standard nationally for both afterschool and summer school use of extended learning funding.”
