The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students has selected Morgan Stanley’s institutional consulting arm, Graystone Consulting, to provide investment advisory services that will steward and strengthen The Foundation’s long-term financial impact.

This partnership supports The Foundation’s commitment to empowering every Fresno Unified student through strategic investments in scholarships, student mental health, technology education, and school site support.

“Partnering with Graystone Consulting allows us to expand the reach and sustainability of our work for Fresno Unified students,” said Wendy McCulley, CEO of The Foundation. “Together, we’re advancing initiatives that open doors to higher education, support student wellness, and build strong learning environments across our district.”

Graystone Consulting is one of the nation’s largest institutional consulting firms, offering expert investment advice to foundations, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. Their work with The Foundation will include portfolio management, risk analysis, and long-term fiduciary guidance.

“Our team is honored to partner with The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students,” said Chad Bolick, Executive Director at Graystone. “We are committed to helping The Foundation achieve its long-term financial goals and ensuring that these vital funds continue to grow and benefit generations of Fresno Unified students.”

This collaboration builds on The Foundation’s growing momentum. Since its founding, The Foundation has awarded more than $1.2 million in scholarships, and in 2022 received a transformative $20 million gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott to support its mission.

With Graystone’s support, The Foundation continues to invest in Fresno Unified’s future—ensuring students are equipped, inspired, and supported every step of the way.
