The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Suit Drive, and Executive Officer Linda Laettner appeared on Central Valley Today ahead of the event to spread the word.
The Suit Drive is an amazing opportunity to support our students. From February 10 through 21, you can donate new or gently used suits, pants, slacks, skirts, jackets, and other professional attire. These items help students be properly fitted and more confident for job interviews, internships, and all of the other next steps they take in their lives. Last year’s Suit Drive successfully collected over 5,000 items, and The Foundation hopes to increase that number with a target of over 7,000 items collected this year.
The collected attire will then be available to students on April 8 at the free pop-up “Suited for Success” shopping experience. Stylists will be on hand to help students curate their looks, and there will also be food trucks and DJs at the event.
Visit the Suit Drive web page for more information about the event or to donate directly to the cause.
