Thank You for a Successful 'Suited for Success' Event
The Foundation for Fresno Unified Schools hosted our annual suit drive to great success this year. Over 5,000 items of clothing were collected—more than double the number of items collected last year. This provided plenty of free professional attire for district juniors and seniors at the Suited for Success event. Students were able to “shop” for items to prepare them for job interviews and professional next steps. We wish to extend a thank you to everyone who donated—we couldn’t have done this without you and your incredible generosity.

Suited for Success, April 9, 2024 – A Free Shopping Event
We are thrilled to announce the “Suited for Success” event, scheduled to take place on April 9th, 2024, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at McLane High School Cafeteria.
The event is a culmination of our ongoing Suit Drive, held during the week of March 18th to the 22nd. Generous contributions from our community have resulted in a diverse collection of professional clothing items, all aimed at supporting our FUSD 11th & 12th graders in their journey towards success.
What to Expect:
- Free Professional Clothing: Students with FUSD IDs will have the opportunity to shop for professional attire at no cost, ensuring they are well-prepared for interviews, internships, and other professional engagements.
- Transportation Services: To facilitate attendance, a shuttle service will be provided, transporting students to and from their respective high schools. Detailed transportation information, including routes and schedules, will be available on our website soon.
- Expert Stylists: Experienced stylists will be on-site to provide personalized guidance and assistance to students as they select their outfits.
- Food Trucks: Delicious food options will be available to keep attendees energized throughout the event.
- Entertainment: A DJ will provide lively music, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
We encourage all 11th and 12th grade students to take advantage of this valuable opportunity and join us for a memorable evening at “Suited for Success.”
